How to Move Between ApeX's Supported Chains (Ethereum, BNB, Arbitrum, Base, Solana)

Risk warning. Trading perpetual futures and other leveraged crypto-asset products is high risk. A large share of retail traders lose money, so never trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely. Disclaimer

ApeX Omni currently supports deposits and withdrawals across five chains, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, and Mantle, with Solana support announced but not yet live at time of writing, so don’t assume it’s available today just because it’s been publicly discussed.

This guide is part of TradeOnDEX’s ApeX Protocol how-to series within Perpetual Futures, building on the account setup guide.

The chains actually supported today

Deposits and withdrawals work across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Base, and Mantle. This means for you, concretely: check the live chain list in ApeX’s own interface before assuming a specific chain (including Solana) is supported, since publicly announced future support and currently-live support aren’t the same thing.

How to deposit from a supported chain, step by step

  1. Connect your wallet and select the chain your funds are currently on from the deposit screen’s chain selector.
  2. Choose your asset and enter the deposit amount, keeping in mind the platform’s minimum deposit requirement (10 USDT).
  3. Confirm the deposit, ApeX covers the gas cost on deposits, so you shouldn’t need the source chain’s native gas token beyond what your wallet already requires to sign the transaction.
  4. Wait for the deposit to confirm and appear in your Funding account before transferring it into your Perp or Spot account.

Moving assets between chains without manual bridging

ApeX’s Omni Spot Swap (also referred to as Multichain Swap) lets you swap assets native to different Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks directly for USDT, ApeX’s primary on-platform currency, without manually bridging between chains or juggling multiple wallets yourself. This means for you, concretely: if your assets are sitting on a chain or in a token ApeX doesn’t natively support for deposits, this swap function may get you to a usable position without a separate third-party bridge.

How to withdraw, step by step

  1. Initiate a withdrawal from your Funding account and select your destination chain from the supported list.
  2. Confirm the amount, fast withdrawals are supported specifically on Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain, with fees starting at 1 USDT.
  3. Double-check the destination chain and wallet address before confirming, since a withdrawal sent to an unsupported or incorrect chain selection can’t simply be reversed.

Risk: what to check before moving assets across chains

Sending an asset to a chain ApeX doesn’t currently support for that asset is a real, hard-to-reverse mistake. Always confirm the live supported-chain list inside ApeX’s own interface immediately before a deposit or withdrawal, rather than relying on memory of what’s been publicly announced.

“Announced” and “live” are different things, and this matters most for Solana right now. Solana support has been publicly discussed but wasn’t live as of this article’s verification date. Treat any specific chain’s availability as unconfirmed until you see it live in ApeX’s own deposit or withdrawal chain selector.

Fast withdrawals aren’t uniformly available across every supported chain. Fee levels and withdrawal speed currently differ by chain (Ethereum, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain specifically support fast withdrawals). Check the specific terms for your destination chain rather than assuming uniform speed and cost.

A multichain swap still involves execution and slippage considerations like any swap. Using Omni Spot Swap to convert an asset to USDT across chains is convenient, but it’s still a market transaction. Check the quoted rate before confirming, the same way you would with any swap.

See it for yourself

Before moving funds, open ApeX’s deposit or withdrawal screen and confirm the current live chain list yourself, rather than relying on any external summary (including this one) as of the exact date you’re trading. You can review current supported chains at apex.exchange.

Frequently asked questions

Is Solana supported on ApeX right now?

As of this article’s verification date, Solana support had been publicly announced but wasn’t yet live. Confirm current status directly in ApeX’s interface before assuming availability.

Do I need the destination chain’s native token to pay gas on a deposit?

ApeX covers gas costs on deposits, so this is generally not a separate concern, but always confirm current terms since gas-fee policies can be adjusted.

What’s the minimum deposit amount?

10 USDT, based on currently reported platform minimums.

Can I move assets between chains without using a separate bridge?

Yes, through ApeX’s Omni Spot Swap (Multichain Swap) feature, which converts assets from supported chains directly to USDT without requiring a separate third-party bridge or multiple wallets.

Risk warning

Trading crypto assets, and leveraged products based on them such as perpetual futures ("perps"), is high risk. A large share of retail traders lose money on these products. Leverage magnifies gains and losses alike and can push your loss beyond the amount you put in. Positions can be closed automatically (liquidation) before you get a chance to react, and some of the platforms we cover offer no negative balance protection.
