Purpose of the content

All content on TradeOnDEX, reviews, explainer articles, the Academy, and the glossary, is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, or tax advice, a personal recommendation, or an offer. See our disclaimer for the risk warning, the affiliate information, and what applies per jurisdiction.

We provide no financial service ourselves

TradeOnDEX publishes information. We offer no trading services, hold or custody no reader funds or crypto assets, execute no orders, match no orders, and extend no leverage. We have no control over the platforms we cover and no access to your wallet, your account, or your funds.

Any trading relationship arises directly between you and a third party, on that party's terms. Disputes, losses, outages, liquidations, hacks, or changes to such a third party's service are outside our control and outside our liability.

Risk and your own responsibility

Trading crypto assets, and leveraged products based on them such as perpetual futures, is high risk. A large share of retail traders lose money on these products, and leverage can push your loss beyond the amount you put in. We treat these products as falling under the strictest applicable risk-warning regime, see the disclaimer. You use the information on this site at your own risk and make your decisions on your own responsibility.

No guarantee of accuracy of third-party information

We do our best to keep information about DEXs, protocols, and on-chain data accurate and current, and verify sources as described in our methodology. Even so, data about external platforms (fees, liquidity, security, supported chains, and so on) can change without us processing that immediately. We give no guarantee that information about third parties is fully accurate or current at any given moment. Always check a platform's official sources before making a decision.

This site contains links to external websites and platforms, including affiliate links (see the disclaimer). We have no control over the content, policies, or security of external sites and are not responsible for any damage arising from their use. A link is never a recommendation to trade.

Availability per jurisdiction

This site is not directed specifically at persons in jurisdictions where reading it, or acting on it, is not permitted. It is your responsibility to establish which rules apply in your country. Many of the platforms we cover exclude users from certain countries, the United States among them. Circumventing such access restrictions breaches that platform's terms and we strongly advise against it.

Content on TradeOnDEX (text, structure, illustrations, unless stated otherwise) is owned by TradeOnDEX. You may quote content with attribution and a link to the original page, but may not fully reproduce or republish content without permission.

Governing law

TradeOnDEX is published from the Netherlands. Dutch law applies to the use of this site, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection that applies in your country of residence. Who is behind TradeOnDEX and how to reach us is on the about page.

Governing language

This English version of the terms is the binding version. Any other language version, including the Dutch translation, is provided for convenience only. In the event of a difference in meaning between versions, the English text prevails.
